I'm currently a postdoc researcher in Earth and Spatial Sciences at the University of Idaho, Moscow, with a side gig as an adjunct postdoc at Washington State University, Pullman. (Yes, I rock in more ways than one!) I have recently earned my PhD from Jadavpur University in India. My research focuses on geodynamics— I create complex mathematical and computational models to explore the evolution of Earth’s interior and surface processes over geological time. You could say I’m into deep stuff. I study all kinds of earth-shaking events, from deep mantle plumes (the real “hot heads” of the mantle) to subduction zones (where plates just can’t let things slide). And if you’re into tectonics, I dive into how strain localization impacts plate movements—yup, it’s intense!
